KRM Ltd was established in 1986 by Keith Rennie, Roger Robinson and Marilyn Rennie. The company initially built its success by focusing on fertiliser spreaders and seed drills, as well as by dealing with manufacturers who also specialise in those fields. Since then product ranges have expanded to include all kinds of products.
Their policy is still to source from individual premium companies who also specialise in individual product ranges and so are able to push the frontiers of development. For example Bogballe (who manufacture KRM fertiliser spreaders) were the first company to produce a hydraulically driven twin disc spreader, it was also the first company to link weigh cell measuring and electronic control to give automatic calibration and rate control.
In 2000, KRM moved to its current 4 acre site. There is a 1858m² covered area where they assemble and store the machines. So, this means before delivery to the dealer or end user, most KRM machines will never have been outside.
